Workshops and Classes for Groups

Celebrate your Birthday with a Yoga Party!
Invite your friends and family to join you in movement, the breath of life and the joy of the day. Co-create what is best for your group. We can teach to all levels, from gentle to vigorous, adults or kids, design themes with a fun, energizing, healing, nurturing or spiritual orientation. The climate-controlled studio has a magificent view of 11th mountain. Catering is optional. Call today to discuss what would make your day.

Yoga and Breathwalk Sessions for Small Groups
Add a yoga class or Breathwalk to your next gathering of friends or family. Classes can be tailored to the group. Susanne has taught classes with students with a variety of levels so can challenge your friend or sister but keep your aunt safe. (One class recently had a 9 year old and an almost 90 year old in the same class—an 80 year span!!)

Experiential Workshops for Conferences and Organizations
A great addition to a conference or a benefit for employees, this program can be tailored to the schedule and needs of the group. Stress reduction techniques can help employees be more efficient, effective and joyful at work.

Yoga for Healing and Groups with Special Needs
Yoga In The Adirondacks offers programs for groups with specific needs: Yoga for MS, Yoga for Chronic Fatigue, Yoga for Diabetes, Yoga for Brain Injuries, Yoga for ADD/ADHD, and so forth. These programs emphasize the body’s natural process of healing and homeostasis. We develop a yoga practice to help relieve symptoms and work with techniques to activate the relaxation response which allows the body to rejuvenate and balance. Yoga is not recommended as a replacement for medical care.

We all want to thank you for the very special contributions you made to the Arts Center Retreat in Blue Mountain Lake earlier this month. From the comments we received, the participants found the early morning yoga class enjoyable and helped create a relaxed atmosphere to do work in.
